Applications

Navigate to Applications in the admin sidebar to see all submitted applications. The list shows:

  • Applicant name and email
  • Unit/bed they’re applying for
  • Submission date
  • Current status
  • Application fee payment status

Click on an application to see full details:

  • Personal information provided by the applicant
  • Background check results (if enabled)
  • Payment status
  • Any notes or documents

  1. Open the application detail page
  2. Review all submitted information
  3. Click Approve
  4. The system will:
    • Update the application status
    • Promote the user’s role from applicant to tenant
    • Send an approval notification email
    • The next step is creating a lease for the approved tenant
  1. Open the application detail page
  2. Click Reject
  3. Optionally provide a reason (included in the notification email)
  4. The applicant receives a rejection notification

If enabled in settings, applications that pass all automated checks (background check, credit score threshold) can be automatically approved. Configure this under Settings > Background Checks:

  • Auto-approval enabled: toggle on/off
  • Minimum credit score: threshold for automatic approval

The application fee is configured under Settings > Payment:

  • Application fee amount: dollar amount charged to applicants
  • Payment enabled: toggle payment processing on/off

When payment is enabled, applicants must pay the fee before their application enters the review queue.

The public application portal must be enabled for applicants to submit applications from the availability grid. Toggle this under Settings > Application Settings:

  • Public applications enabled: when off, the /apply pages redirect to the homepage
