Applying for a Space
Before you apply
Section titled “Before you apply”Make sure you have:
- A valid email address (you’ll need to confirm it)
- Personal identification information
- Employment or financial details (if required)
- Payment method for the application fee (if applicable)
Starting an application
Section titled “Starting an application”- Visit the availability page and find a space
- Click “Apply” (for available spaces) or “Request This Space” (for upcoming openings)
- You’ll be taken to the unit detail page with full information about the space
Application steps
Section titled “Application steps”The application is a multi-step process. Progress is saved as you go, so you can return later if needed.
Step 1: Personal information
Section titled “Step 1: Personal information”Provide your basic details:
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Phone number
- Email address
- Current address
Step 2: Additional details
Section titled “Step 2: Additional details”Depending on the property’s requirements, you may need to provide:
- Employment information
- Emergency contacts
- References
- Vehicle information
Step 3: Background check
Section titled “Step 3: Background check”If background checks are required (configured by the property manager), you’ll be directed to complete a credit/background check through the integrated provider.
Step 4: Payment
Section titled “Step 4: Payment”If an application fee is configured, you’ll be prompted to pay via Stripe. The standard fee amount is shown before you submit payment.
Step 5: Review & submit
Section titled “Step 5: Review & submit”Review all your information before final submission. Once submitted, your application enters the review queue.
After submitting
Section titled “After submitting”Your application status will be one of:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Pending | Submitted, waiting for initial review |
| Under review | Being actively reviewed by the property manager |
| Approved | You’re in — you’ll receive next steps for lease signing |
| Rejected | Not approved this time — you’ll receive a notification with details |
You’ll receive email notifications when your application status changes. If approved, your account is upgraded to a tenant role and you’ll gain access to the tenant portal.
